Project Brief
In line with the government’s directives and Qatar National Vision 2030, the Public Works Authority “ASHGHAL” is keen on delivering integrated infrastructure that serves all sectors in QATAR.
The partial Rehabilitation and Renovation of the Corniche tower is a project with several opportunities.
Rehabilitation and Renovation are considered to transform the tower to be a multi-functional exhibition, allowing the public interested in photography, painting, and the natural view to explore the surrounding area and the horizon.
Scope of Works
The scope of the Works covers the Design and Build for Rehabilitation and Renovation of floor #5 and floor #6, the ground floor that leads to the elevators’ lobby, and levels of the existing podium parking of the Corniche Tower located at the main road of the Corniche.
*The main components of the Design and Build scope include:
- Architectural Works.
- Interior Works.
- Structural Works.
- Mechanical Works.
- Electrical Works.
- Fire and Life Safety Works.
- Building permit processes.
*The scope of work also includes, and is not limited to, the following:
- Consultancy services for the design of the required scope; partial Rehabilitation and Renovation of the Corniche Tower.
- Obtain all required Governmental approvals/permits, etc…
- Construction Management.
- Site Set-up, Maintenance, and Construction.
- Survey the existing condition of the building and develop survey reports.
- Constructability reviews.
- Health and Safety management.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- MEP systems and equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Testing, Commissioning, and Operation.
- Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals for the upkeep and repairs of the building, including suitable material supplier lists.
- Developing an As-Built drawing that relates to the renovation works.
