Project Overview
The Base Project is destined to the ships (150 small to medium size boats with a length up to 45m) for the surveillance and protection of the coastal area and improve the response time of action by the Coast Guard during emergencies. The Project Site is exposed to waves emanating from the Arabian Gulf. In particular, Sumaysimah is exposed to waves from the north-eastern quadrant. Therefore adequate tranquility conditions inside the harbor basin were guaranteed to ensure safe berthing of the Coast Guard fleet and security of the berthing structures and landside facilities during storm events.

Scope of Work
Construction, Completion and Maintenance: Quay Walls & Travel lift Piers, Installation of Quay furniture, Boat launching ramp, Supply of 2 travel lifts 300 ton capacity, The breakwaters & revetments, Pavement, Crown wall along with the Security Fence, The Aids to Navigation, Floating Pontoons Structures, The In Berth Services, Fuel Station (On-land Tanks and In-Berth Dispensing System), The MEP Services at the Breakwaters.
